Health & Safety Manage

Role Description This part-time remote Health & Safety Manager role at ELPIS 60 focuses on developing, implementing, and monitoring health and safety policies and procedures across the organization. The role involves conducting virtual risk assessments, reviewing incident reports, and recommending corrective and preventive actions. The Health & Safety Manager will coordinate training sessions, maintain compliance documentation, and update safety guidelines in line with regulatory changes and industry best practices. Daily tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams, advising on safe work practices, and preparing concise reports and metrics for leadership. The role also requires continuous improvement of health and safety programs and proactive identification of emerging risks.
Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in Health & Safety management and Occupational Health, with the ability to design and maintain effective safety programs.
• Knowledge of Environment Health and Safety (EHS) practices and regulations, including experience applying EHS standards in remote or distributed work environments.
• Proficiency in Accident Investigation and Inspection, including root-cause analysis, evidence documentation, and development of corrective actions.
• Familiarity with relevant local and international health and safety laws, regulations, and industry guidelines.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and deliver clear training and guidance remotely.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities in a part-time capacity, and maintain organized digital records.
• Professional certification in health and safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent) and prior experience in a health and safety role are highly beneficial.
