Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Hot & Cold Equipment Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various kitchen equipment, including hot and cold appliances. Daily tasks include diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, performing preventive maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and coordinating with vendors or suppliers when necessary. The technician will also assist in maintaining optimal performance of heavy equipment, ensuring operational efficiency at all restaurant locations.

Qualifications

install, inspect, maintain, and repair hot and cold kitchen equipment.

Perform basic servicing and troubleshooting of HVAC systems.

Diagnose faults and carry out necessary repairs efficiently.

Maintain proper records of service activities using digital platforms.

Identify and manage spare parts required for maintenance and repairs.

Travel to various project sites across the UAE as required.

Follow instructions from supervisors, senior technicians, and management.

Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards.

Handle assigned tasks independently and meet deadlines.

Requirements:

Minimum 3–4 years of experience in kitchen equipment maintenance and repair.

Knowledge of hot kitchen equipment (ovens, fryers, grills, etc.) and cold equipment (refrigerators, freezers, chillers).

Basic knowledge of HVAC systems.

Good understanding of spare parts and inventory handling.

Ability to use digital platforms/apps for reporting and communication.

Must hold a valid UAE driving license.

Willingness to travel across the UAE for site work.

Ability to work under pressure and manage tasks independently.

Quick learner with a positive attitude toward new technologies and methods.

Additional Requirements:

Must be available for a 3-day trial period before confirmation.

Physically fit and capable of handling fieldwork conditions.
