The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will be a strategic pivot point for Tailor & Finch. You will not only manage the day-to-day people operations but also act as a consultant to leadership on organizational design, culture building, and talent acquisition within the fashion and textile space.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Lead the end-to-end recruitment for diverse roles, including Creative Designers, Supply Chain Coordinators, and E-commerce Specialists.
- Build a pipeline of talent familiar with the Western fashion market and technical garment production.
- Enhance the employer brand to attract top-tier talent in the UAE and international fashion hubs.
- Develop and implement onboarding programs that immerse new hires in the Tailor & Finch brand ethos.
- Design performance management frameworks that reward creativity alongside commercial KPIs.
- Manage regional HR compliance across the UAE and other operating territories.
- Oversee payroll coordination, benefits administration, and visa processing for international staff.
- Draft and update employment contracts, handbooks, and internal policies tailored to a fashion business workflow.
- Identify training needs for the production and design teams to stay ahead of global fashion trends and AI-driven retail tools.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Must have 5–8 years of HR experience, with at least 3 years specifically within the Fashion, Retail, or Luxury Apparel sectors.
- Must have Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Deep understanding of the fashion product lifecycle (from tech-pack to retail) and how it impacts staffing needs.
- Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law; experience with Saudi Arabia labor markets is a significant advantage.
- Exceptional communication skills, a founder's mindset, and the ability to balance corporate structure with creative flexibility.
