Job Description

Looking for an experienced HR Director to lead and drive the people strategy for a multinational financial services organisation. This role will partner closely with senior leadership to support business growth, ensure regulatory compliance, and build a high-performance, risk-aware culture aligned with global standards.

The ideal candidate will have deep HR leadership experience within multinational financial services environments, with strong exposure to regulated businesses and complex, multi-jurisdictional workforces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the HR strategy in line with business objectives and global HR frameworks.
  • Act as a trusted strategic partner to the Executive Committee and senior leadership.
  • Lead workforce planning, talent management, succession planning, and leadership development.
  • Ensure full compliance with financial services regulations, labor laws, governance, and internal policies.
  • Oversee compensation & benefits, performance management, and reward frameworks aligned to market benchmarks.
  • Drive culture, employee engagement, DEI, and change management initiatives.
  • Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters, and complex HR cases with discretion and professionalism.
  • Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to ensure HR policies align with regulatory expectations.
  • Lead and develop the HR team, fostering a high-performance and commercially focused HR function.
  • Manage HR budgets and provide data-driven insights through HR analytics and reporting.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, and organizational transformation where applicable.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1215 years of progressive HR experience, with senior leadership experience in financial services.
  • Proven background working within multinational corporations (MNCs).
  • Experience supporting complex, multi-country operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate at board and executive level.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Professional certifications preferred (CIPD, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent).
