Position Objectives
- Own and drive ICT Asset Management at the intersection of telecom network infrastructure, data centre operations, and enterprise asset governance. This domain goes far beyond standard IT asset management and demands deep technical fluency across complex, multi-site environments.
- Bring proven experience from large-scale telecom or datacenter infrastructure programs -multi-site network rollouts, Data Centre audits, or national ICT projects -to define and enforce asset management standards, policies, and procedures that field teams can consistently execute at scale.
- Ensure everything captured on-site is clean, reconciled, and decision-ready, bridging field operations, data governance, and stakeholder reporting into a single accountable asset management function.
Job Description and Responsibilities
- Act as the go-to resource for ICT asset management, with telecom domain knowledge as a strong advantage.
- Define standards and procedures: asset attributes to capture, naming conventions, rack/row/location identifiers, labelling/tagging rules, evidence rules, and exception handling for multiple clients.
- Provide technical guidance to correctly identify assets and differentiate asset types, including interpretation of labels, vendor/model, and other attributes.
- Ensure accurate capture of key fields.
- Contribute to RFP answers in the domain of Asset Management.
- Implement quality control: sampling checks, peer verification, repeat scans, and discrepancy triage before reconciliation submission.
- Coordinate with stakeholders per operations/site teams for access control, escorting, and safety requirements.
- Support reconciliation workflow by preparing clean survey extracts and clear discrepancy categorisation for the Data & Reporting/Reconciliation Specialist if/when applicable.
- Define required surveys when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with site rules and safety.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or Electrical Engineering.
- 8-15 + years in ICT Asset Management with exposure to high-tech assets.
- Solid technical understanding of data centre hardware and telecom equipment identification, including vendors, chassis families, and labelling conventions.
- Experience managing on-site/remote projects and executing multi-site surveys with consistent methodology.
- Familiarity with CMDB/DCIM and ITIL is an advantage for Asset Life Cycle management.
- Strong practical skills with scanning tools, structured checklists, and producing clean datasets for reconciliation and reporting.

- English is mandatory; Arabic is an advantage.
