Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Institutional Sales Specialist to join our growing team. This role sits between jun and mid level and is suited for a sales specialist with at least 2-3 years institutional sales experience and an existing client book.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing institutional client relationships, generating new business opportunities, and acting as a key point of contact between clients and internal teams. You will play a critical role in driving revenue growth while ensuring a high standard of client experience in a regulated financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with institutional clients, acting as the primary point of contact throughout the client lifecycle.

• Leverage an existing client book while actively generating new leads through market knowledge, industry trends, and professional networks.

• Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth through effective sales strategies and client engagement.

• Maintain ongoing client relationship management coverage, ensuring timely communication and proactive support.

• Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams, including Client Services, Trading, Operations, Compliance, and Finance, to ensure seamless service delivery.

• Support client onboarding processes, including coordination around documentation, operational setup, and internal approvals.

• Stay up to date with market trends, product developments, and regulatory requirements to provide informed and compliant client communication.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and activity tracking in CRM systems.

• Contribute to the development and improvement of sales processes and client engagement strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in institutional sales within financial services, brokerage, fintech, or a related industry (2-3 years).

• Existing institutional client book is strongly preferred.

• Solid understanding of financial markets, institutional products, and client relationship management.

• Demonstrated ability to generate new leads and convert opportunities into long-term client relationships.

• Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage senior-level client interactions.

• Experience working cross-functionally with internal teams to support client needs and resolve issues efficiently.

• Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Excellent command of English (written and verbal); additional languages are an advantage.

• Experience working in a regulated environment and multicultural setting is desirable.
