Role Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our growing team. The role involves developing design concepts, producing detailed drawings, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and supporting project execution from concept through completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative interior design concepts aligned with client briefs, budgets, and timelines
- Prepare space planning, mood boards, material selections, and FF&E specifications
- Produce detailed design and technical drawings (layouts, elevations, sections, joinery details)
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and suppliers during execution
- Ensure designs comply with local authority regulations, building codes, and safety standards
- Participate in client presentations, design reviews, and site meetings
- Conduct site visits to ensure design intent is maintained during construction
- Support value engineering exercises without compromising design quality
- Maintain organized design documentation and revision control
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design or Architecture
- Minimum 35 years of relevant interior design experience (GCC experience preferred)
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of SketchUp, 3Ds Max, Revit, or Lumion is an advantage
- Good understanding of materials, finishes, joinery, and fit-out detailing
- Experience working on commercial, residential, or hospitality projects
- Strong coordination, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of Qatari authority requirements is a plus
