What will you be doing

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HC Intern to support our Human Capital team with day-to-day operations and initiatives. This internship provides hands-on exposure to core HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, HR operations, and training.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the HC programs within the office: Workforce Planning, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Performance & Reward, HC Budgeting
  • Coordinate interview scheduling with candidates and hiring managers
  • Support candidate communication and follow-ups
  • Maintain trackers for Full time hires and internships
  • Assist in onboarding new hires (documentation, welcome kits, system access coordination)
  • Support employee records management and HR documentation
  • Prepare HR-related letters and documentation as needed
  • Support planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives
  • Assist in organizing internal events
  • Assist in dealing with third party vendors
  • Assisting the coordination of trainings for Abu Dhabi staff
  • Support the wider Mubadala Capital HC team
  • Support ad-hoc HC projects

What we're looking for

  • Completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field
  • UAEN with family data
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Ability to work well in an entrepreneurial and fast-paced work environment
  • Dedicated team player with a strong sense of ownership
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and other applications such as Slack, SharePoint, and Zoom.

The selection process

Given the importance of the role to the success of the business, we take our selection process seriously. You will first meet with an HC representative and if you progress will also be interviewed by team members as we ensure we test for both core technical skills and the ability to contribute effectively from a company culture perspective.
