The Investment Operations Manager is responsible for managing key components of the investment operations function, ensuring effective execution, strong controls, and operational efficiency across the full investment lifecycle
The role oversees operational processes, supports governance, manages complex workflows, and contributes to transformation initiatives aligned with EIA's operating model
Strategic Responsibilities
Support the implementation of the Investment Operations strategy and operating model.
Drive process standardization, efficiency, and control enhancements.
Contribute to digital transformation, automation, and system improvements.
Core Responsibilities
Operations Oversight & Execution
Oversee trade processing, settlement, reconciliations, valuation, and data management activities.
Ensure timely and accurate execution across the investment operations lifecycle.
Monitor KPIs, SLAs, and operational performance.
Control Framework & Risk Management
Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Identify operational risks and implement mitigation measures.
Maintain audit-ready documentation and control processes.
Data, Systems & Process Improvement
Ensure integrity and consistency of data across systems.
Lead process improvement and automation initiatives.
Support system upgrades and integration projects.
Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination
Coordinate with internal teams (Investment, Finance, Risk, IT).
Manage relationships with custodians, administrators, and vendors.
Resolve operational issues and ensure service delivery standards.
Reporting & Governance
Prepare management reporting and operational dashboards.
Support governance forums, audits, and compliance reviews.
Ensure alignment with EIA governance framework.
Education & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Professional qualifications (CFA, CPA, FRM) preferred.
