Investment Specialist

Job Purpose:

To support the Investment Department in analyzing and evaluating investment opportunities and strategic projects, contributing to well-informed investment decisions aligned with the government entity's objectives and strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:

Participate in analyzing and evaluating proposed investment opportunities and strategic projects.

Prepare financial models and economic and financial feasibility studies.

Conduct market research and sector analysis relevant to the organization's investment focus.

Assist in preparing investment presentations and reports for senior management and investment committees.

Monitor the performance of existing investments and projects and prepare periodic performance and risk reports.

Support valuation activities for projects and assets in accordance with approved policies and standards.

Ensure compliance with government regulations, internal policies, and governance frameworks.

Coordinate with internal departments, government entities, and external advisors as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

1 to 3 years of experience in investment analysis, financial analysis, project management, or a related role within a government or semi-government environment.

Required Skills:

Good knowledge of financial analysis, financial modeling, and feasibility studies.

Understanding of investment concepts, valuation techniques, and risk management principles.

Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to prepare professional reports and presentations.

High analytical ability, attention to detail, and numerical accuracy.

Good communication and report-writing skills in English (Arabic is an advantage).

Ability to work effectively within a team and manage multiple tasks.
