Role Summary
The Junior Credit Controller will support the finance team in managing receivables, processing credit notes, monitoring customer accounts, and ensuring timely collections. The role also includes basic accounting responsibilities and coordination with sales and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounts Receivable & Credit Control
- Share Statements of Account (SOA) with customers and follow up on payments
- Monitor and track overdue balances across wholesale customers
- Support overdue approval processes for Independent Retail customers
- Credit Notes & Incentives Processing
- Process dealer incentives and value-based credit notes (ST / SO incentives)
- Issue credit notes for Anker rebates and dealer support programs
- Reporting & Monitoring
- Prepare IR Debtors Report (Accessories wholesale, brand-wise) on a weekly basis (every Tuesday)
- Review Win IT pending cheque report daily
- Maintain Trade License Tracking Report
- Cash & Reconciliation
- Ensure clearance of cash customers and other accounts before month-end payroll
- Perform CIT reconciliation for IR/POS transactions and reclassification
- Operational Support
- Conduct route visits and customer visits as required
- Assist in VAN stock level approvals
- Support monthly stock counting activities
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (ERP knowledge is an advantage)
- Good communication and follow-up skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Willingness to travel for customer and route visits
