Overall Purpose of the Role

Landscape Architect will lead the creative development of landscape concepts and visual presentations for a variety of projects. The role focuses on delivering innovative, aesthetically strong, and environmentally responsive design solutions aligned with client briefs and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design

1.1 1.1 Create strong design narratives, themes, and placemaking strategies

1.2 Translate cultural, environmental, and contextual inputs into meaningful landscape experiences

1.3 Advance concepts through Concept and Schematic Design stages

1.4 Produce and direct design diagrams, mood boards, sketches, and visualizations

1.5 Prepare high-quality client-facing presentations and competition boards

1.6 Integrate landscape design with urban design, architecture, and public realm strategies

1.7 Review and guide production of renders, animations, and presentation materials

1.8 Develop concept and schematic 3D landscape models to communicate design intent

1.9 Produce massing, terrain, and spatial models to study levels, views, and user experience

2. Stakeholders & Business Development

2.1 Support in preparing design presentations for clients and competitions.

2.2 Contribute to proposal submissions and marketing materials when required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field (Master's degree is an advantage).

56 years of professional experience in landscape design.

Minimum 3 years of UAE experience.

Strong knowledge of local authority submission processes (DMT, ADM, RTA, Municipality approvals).

Proficiency in SketchUp, Rhino, and Revit

Strong freehand sketching, conceptual design, and visualization skills.

Knowledge of GCC-native and adaptive plant species, sustainable landscaping practices, and climate-responsive design.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Strong presentation, organizational, time management, and teamwork abilities.
