Qontrac is seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to lead and deliver electrical works across large-scale industrial construction projects. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on site experience, and full-cycle project execution capability.
key Requirements:- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 5 to 8 years of proven experience in industrial electrical projects (plants, factories, utilities).
- Strong technical expertise in:
- Power Distribution systems
- MDB / SMDB
- Lighting & Low Current systems
- Generators, UPS, grounding systems
- Solid experience in full project lifecycle:
- Planning, execution, QA/QC, testing, and commissioning
- Proven leadership in managing site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Shop Drawings, Method Statements
- MIR, RFI, IR, WIR
- Strong understanding of safety standards, QA/QC procedures, and industrial regulations.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office (MS Project / Primavera is a plus).
- Excellent coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Own a car for site mobility.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all electrical construction activities in compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Supervise daily site operations and optimize manpower and resources.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, HSE, QC, and other disciplines.
- Monitor progress, quality, and schedule adherence.
- Oversee testing, commissioning, and final handover.
- Prepare and submit regular progress reports to management.
