We're Hiring a Lead Electrical Engineer with strong expertise in Primary Design of high-voltage substations to join our engineering team on strategic projects across Egypt and the Gulf region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of General layout, equipment arrangement, cable routing, earthing & lightning protection systems.
- Support the Tender Team by providing technical inputs, reviewing tender documents, and preparing design deliverables.
- Coordinate closely with protection, control, civil, and mechanical teams.
- Review vendor documents and ensure compliance with international standards (IEC/IEEE).
- Guide junior engineers and manage technical deliverables.
Requirements:
- From 7 to 10 years of hands-on experience in primary design for HV substations.
- Strong command of AutoCAD and Revit.
- Familiarity with utility standards (e.g., SEC, DEWA, EETC) is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
