Job Title: Legal Assistant

Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant to support the management of contracts and legal documentation, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, and assisting the organizations objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and negotiation skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Drafting & Review:

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Ensure contract terms are clear, fair, and aligned with the organizations interests.

Contract Management:

  • Support overseeing the entire contract lifecycle, from creation to execution and renewal.
  • Track contract deadlines, milestones, and obligations to ensure timely renewals or terminations.

Risk Assessment:

  • Identify potential risks and liabilities in contracts.
  • Provide recommendations to management on mitigating risks and ensuring favorable outcomes.

Compliance Monitoring:

  • Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Monitor ongoing contractual relationships, ensuring all parties fulfill their commitments.

Negotiations:

  • Collaborate with external stakeholders to negotiate terms, resolve disputes, and amend agreements as necessary.

Document Management:

  • Maintain organized records of all contracts and related documents for easy access and retrieval.

Reporting & Communication:

  • Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management regarding contract status, key issues, and compliance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and best practices.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
