About the Role
BEC Arabia is seeking experienced Lifting Engineers to join our team on major construction projects in KSA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, and ensuring safe execution of all lifting operations in compliance with international and project-specific safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and supervise all lifting operations on site
- Prepare and review lifting plans and method statements
- Ensure compliance with HSE and lifting safety standards
- Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and site teams
- Conduct risk assessments for lifting activities
- Inspect lifting equipment and ensure proper certification
- Monitor and control critical and heavy lifts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- LEEA Appointed Person Certification – Mandatory
- Rigger Level 1 Certification – Required
- Additional lifting or safety certifications are a plus
Experience
- Minimum 3–10 years of experience in lifting operations within construction projects
- Proven experience in heavy lifting and critical lift planning
- Experience working on large-scale or mega projects preferred
Skills
- Strong knowledge of lifting equipment and load calculations
- Familiarity with international lifting standards (BS, LOLER, etc.)
- Excellent coordination and communication skills
- High attention to safety and detail
