Lighting Designer

Nakashi Lighting is seeking a Lighting Designer to establish and lead its lighting design and consultancy function.

This role combines lighting design expertise, technical execution, and process development. The selected candidate will work directly with the CEO and play a key role in shaping the company's design capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop lighting concepts and design narratives
• Produce lighting layouts, calculations, and fixture specifications
• Prepare client presentation decks
• Conduct lighting simulations and technical analysis
• Support mock-ups and commissioning
• Coordinate internally with sales, procurement, and project teams
• Develop structured lighting design processes and documentation standards

Required Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Lighting Design
• 4 years experience in a lighting consultancy
• Experience working on UAE or GCC projects
• Strong portfolio demonstrating lighting design projects

Required software proficiency:

• Dialux Evo
• AutoCAD
• Revit
• SketchUp
• Photoshop
