Maintenance Engineer

Role Overview:

The Junior Maintenance Engineer is responsible for supporting maintenance operations across restaurant

branches by coordinating with technicians and the Maintenance Supervisor, ensuring timely execution of

maintenance tasks, and assisting in preventive maintenance planning. The role also includes monitoring

maintenance costs, petty cash, and budget control.

Key Responsibilities:

Follow up on daily maintenance activities across restaurant branches with technicians and the

Maintenance Supervisor.

• Monitor and track lead time for maintenance requests and ensure timely closure.

• Assist in preparing and executing preventive maintenance schedules for all restaurant equipment

(HVAC, kitchen equipment, electrical, plumbing, etc.).

• Coordinate urgent and breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime in restaurant operations.

• Ensure all maintenance activities are properly recorded and reported.

• Monitor technicians petty cash, ensuring proper usage and documentation.

• Assist in tracking and controlling the maintenance budget.

• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.

• Support stores opening, relocations and remodeling.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (or related field).

• 1–3 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in restaurants, F&B, or retail.
