Ensuring the availability of machines to achieve the production plan within the specified timeline, required quality standards, and at the lowest possible cost.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the Annual Preventive Maintenance Plan in coordination with the Planning Department.
- Establish plans for the installation and commissioning of new machines in collaboration with the Production and Planning departments.
- Identify and select the necessary equipment purchases to meet the sales plan and align with the production development strategy.
- Prepare the Annual Maintenance Budget, review and analyze expenditures on a quarterly and monthly basis (Expenses vs. Budget), and take corrective actions when needed in coordination with the direct manager.
- Review and analyze daily reports on machine availability, breakdowns, and quality issues, ensuring corrective actions are taken when necessary.
- Ensure that all machines, equipment, personnel, and tools are always ready for operation and meet required specifications and standards.
- Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance engineers and supervisors to enhance skill development and performance.
- Evaluate the performance of the maintenance team on a daily and monthly basis based on KPIs and implement development plans accordingly.
- Monitor spare parts inventory levels and issue purchase requests as needed.
- Propose and implement cost-effective solutions to reduce operational expenses related to machinery.
- Ensure employees comply with health, safety, and 5S workplace organization standards.
Academic & Professional Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience. Preferably Mechanical maintenance background.
- Strong Leadership and decision-making skills
