A Maintenance Supervisor for Joinery & Fit-out oversees the installation, repair, and ongoing upkeep of high-quality woodwork, furniture, and interior architectural elements. This role bridges the gap between factory production and on-site execution, ensuring that all fit-out works meet luxury standards, safety regulations, and project timelines.
Core Responsibilities
- Site & Production Supervision: Manage daily on-site fit-out activities, including joinery installation, partitioning, ceilings, and flooring.
- Technical Oversight: Interpret shop drawings, AutoCAD designs, and Bill of Quantities (BOQs) to ensure accurate execution and snag-free delivery.
- Team Leadership: Lead and train a team of skilled workers, including carpenters, painters, and technicians, fostering a productive work environment.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure all finishes and installations meet client specifications and industry benchmarks.
- Maintenance Coordination: Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and installed joinery to minimize downtime.
- Material & Resource Management: Monitor inventory levels, oversee the procurement of materials, and manage manpower allocation efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Enforce HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) standards and promote a culture of safety on-site.
