Manager – Business Development

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE | Department: EDGE Commercial – Business Development

EDGE Group is seeking a Manager – Business Development to drive business growth, develop strategic opportunities and build strong customer relationships across its advanced technology and defence portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and develop new business opportunities across priority markets.
Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners and industry stakeholders.
Lead opportunity qualification, capture planning and customer engagement.
Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to develop competitive solutions and proposals.
Support negotiations, pipeline management and business development reporting.
Identify strategic partnerships and market expansion opportunities.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Defence or related field.
7+ years of relevant Business Development, Sales or Commercial experience.
Knowledge or experience in technologies and products in at least a few of the following areas: integrated C5ISR systems, C5ISR products, multi-intelligence fusion, sensing and intelligence (EW, Radar, EO/IR, SAR, AIS, acoustics, GEOINT, OSINT, etc), artificial intelligence (AI), platforms, autonomy, missiles, weapons, multi-domain systems and technologies, and tactical systems.* Knowledge of one or more EDGE clusters, or experience with similar systems: Platforms & Systems, Missiles & Weapons, Secure Intelligence Systems, Advanced Sensing, Homeland Security, and Technology and Industrialization* Experience in the defense sector
Experience within defence, aerospace, advanced technology, security or related sectors.
Strong commercial, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
