Job Title: Manager - Online Non Fashion Merchandising
1. Online Merchandising & Visibility
- Manage category storefronts, landing pages, and onsite placements to ensure strong product discoverability.
- Plan and execute homepage banners, thematic collections, and seasonal campaigns.
- Optimize product sorting, filters, and navigation to improve user experience and conversion rates and coordinate with design and content teams for high-quality product display.
2. Sales & Performance Optimization
- Monitor category performance including traffic, conversion, AOV, and revenue.
- Identify high-potential SKUs and ensure strong visibility through strategic placements.
- Plan promotional calendars including markdowns, bundles, and special price campaigns and track stock availability and reduce lost sales due to OOS products.
3. Campaign & Promotion Management
- Execute sale events (seasonal, mega sales, festive promotions).
- Ensure accurate price drops, coupon tagging, and promotional communication onsite and work closely with marketing teams for traffic-driving campaigns.
4. Catalog & Content Excellence
- Ensure accurate product categorization, attributes, and taxonomy.
- Maintain high-quality PDP content including images, videos, and descriptions and drive improvements in product content to enhance conversion.
5. Inventory & Supply Coordination
- Coordinate with sourcing and supply chain teams to maintain healthy stock levels.
- Track fast-moving and slow-moving inventory for better planning and support liquidation planning for aged inventory.
6. Data Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly dashboards for sales and merchandising KPIs.
- Use data insights to refine pricing, promotions, and assortment strategies and analyze customer behavior and onsite journeys for optimization opportunities.
7. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of merchandisers and category executives
- Allocate category responsibilities and ensure target achievement and drive team productivity, training, and performance reviews.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Ecommerce, or related field.
- 6-10 years of experience in Ecommerce Merchandising / Category Management.
