Managing Director/Account Director PR - Tourism, Doha (Qatar)

Your responsibilities

  • You identify, develop and evaluate marketing and communication strategies for our international tourism clients globally
  • You will serve as an external press service and shall be responsible for distributing press releases to B2B and B2C and communicating with media.
  • You will support marketing activities of a globally well-known tourism board and coordinate all processes.
  • You analyse and monitor the tourism market and competition
  • You manage and coordinate your team and brief the other units, such as media planning, PR, social media, events and digital
  • You are responsible for creating, evaluating and processing budgets and always keep an eye on all items, costs and KPIs
  • You consult with other units to negotiate contracts and are in constant contact with the media and other distribution channels
  • You take care of relationships with external partners, such as suppliers, freelancers and more

Your profile

  • You communicate convincingly, confidently and sympathetically
  • You have in-depth knowledge of the hospitality and tourism industry
  • You have at least five years of professional experience in the development of partnerships in the global sector and in the travel industry
  • You have a Bachelor's and/or Master's degree with a focus on business administration, public relations or Marketing
  • You are not afraid to take on responsibility and can manage customers and external providers
  • You have excellent verbal and written English skills
