Job Summary

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Director to lead the Platform Marketing function for Emerson's Business in the Middle East and Africa. The role will require you to lead a hard-working team in developing and operationalizing marketing strategies designed to increase Emerson's engagement and business with its customers across a diverse and strategic world area supporting the acceleration of growth across our businesses.

This role will additionally lead regional growth strategy development, enhance digital customer experience, and oversee market insights programs to strengthen strategic decision making and business expansion across the MEA region

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Brand Management: Ensure all internal and external content aligns with Emerson's corporate and platform branding guidelines, including marketing collateral, digital content, and employee identities.
  • Strategic Marketing Leadership:
    • Drive the rollout of global marketing programs across Middle East & Africa based on the Long Range Marketing Plan. Develop strategies to deepen account engagement, expand coverage in strategic markets, and penetrate emerging regions and industries.
    • Partner with Strategic Planning to leverage in depth research on market trends, competitors, and customer behaviors to better inform strategic marketing programs and priorities
    • Enable growth in targeted emerging markets using strategic Account Based Marketing (ABM) and regionalized marketing programs built in collaboration with Enterprise HQ Marketing teams
  • Market Diversification: Lead initiatives to grow Emerson's presence in key segments such as Sustainability & Decarbonization, Metals & Mining, Factory Automation, and Power & Water.
  • Experiential Marketing: Design impactful experiences for customers, partners, and internal teams that showcase Emerson's portfolio and thought leadership in areas like Digital Transformation, Autonomous Operations and AI .
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business groups, regional leaders, and functional teams to align marketing strategies with high-level business objectives.
  • Functional Leadership:
    • Build a robust Customer Experience practice across Middle East & Africa.
    • Develop and execute cohesive data driven campaigns and events strategies with clear ROI.
    • Lead the execution of integrated digital campaigns and regional events to enhance brand awareness, strengthen customer engagement, and generate qualified leads.
    • Own external communications, including press, publications, and social media and enhance brand visibility in the media.
    • Lead digital marketing initiatives to enhance brand awareness and showcase Emerson's technology stack while capturing insights to enhance sales coverage through engagement
    • Optimize usage of the technology stack implemented via the Emerson.com modernization program to improve end to end customer journeys, personalization, and lead conversion outcomes.
    • Drive sales enablement and measure marketing ROI through automation tools
    • Drive the assessment of customer success through surveys to capture the Voice of The Customer.
    • Establish and track KPIs for all marketing initiatives, manage Harris VOC, Qualtrics, and event related metrics, monitor brand share of voice trends, and report ROI and performance insights to senior leadership
    • Support internal culture development programs through newsletters and digital channels.

You demonstrate strong leadership skills in developing and guiding regional marketing teams, ensuring alignment with global brand direction, and overseeing effective resource and budget allocation.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, or Communications.
  • 10+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, Product Management, or Business Development, preferably in process or industrial automation industries.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Degree in Marketing or Engineering combined with experience in Marketing, Sales, or Business Development.
  • MBA or Master's in Marketing, PR, or Communications is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Middle East & Africa markets and industries.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
