Job Overview
The Director of marketing will lead the overall marketing, brand, and growth strategy for UniHawk and A Learning Lab across the GCC region. The role encompasses marketing leadership, brand management, digital performance, communications, and strategic growth initiatives to enhance student acquisition, partnerships, and market expansion.
The CMO will oversee multi-country operations, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure full alignment with the strategic objectives defined by the CEO.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership & Growth
- Develop and implement a unified marketing and brand strategy across GCC markets.
- Lead positioning and differentiation for UniHawk and A Learning Lab across all verticals Test Prep, Tutoring, Admissions, Learning Lab programs, and Corporate offerings.
- Provide strategic counsel to leadership on market insights, competitive positioning, and growth opportunities.
2. Brand & Communications Management
- Strengthen and expand the UniHawk and A Learning Lab brands regionally.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing platforms, materials, and events.
- Oversee internal and external communications, media relations, and PR campaigns (approx. 65% GCC ex-UAE, 35% UAE).
3. Digital & Performance Marketing
- Lead the digital acquisition strategy across Meta, Google, LinkedIn, TikTok, Snapchat, and other platforms.
- Drive key marketing KPIs including lead generation, CPL, CTR, conversion rates, and ROI.
- Oversee CRM integration, automation funnels, landing pages, and analytics dashboards to optimize performance.
4. Product Marketing & Vertical Support
- Create tailored marketing frameworks for each vertical (SAT, UCAT, IELTS, GMAT, GRE, Tutoring, Admissions, Bootcamps, Internships, Student Tours, etc.).
- Collaborate with vertical heads to align on product launches, pricing, and go-to-market plans.
5. Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor the Marketing, Design, School Outreach, Events, and Tele-Advisor teams.
- Define KPIs, workflows, and performance standards to ensure consistent delivery.
- Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, and accountability.
6. Partnerships & External Relations
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with schools, universities, corporate partners, PR agencies, and government entities.
- Support B2B and CSR initiatives, including corporate learning and employee benefit programs.
7. Budgeting & Performance Management
- Manage and allocate the annual marketing budget across regions and verticals.
- Track and report on campaign performance, ensuring alignment with revenue and enrollment goals.
Qualifications & Experience
- Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- 810 years of marketing leadership experience in education, consulting, technology, or services sectors.
- Proven record of driving growth and managing multi-country marketing operations.
- Deep understanding of GCC markets, consumer behavior, and regional marketing trends.
- Strong expertise in digital marketing, brand management, PR, and analytics.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
