Create and implement an integrated marketing strategy for the entire exhibition including exhibitor, conference and visitor campaign.
Proactively manage the database of existing exhibitions. Build-up product knowledge of the virtual exhibitions.
Generate and nurture new event leads and manage them within the CRM database
Content creation, including writing EDMs, newsletters and social media
Use the full marketing mix to promote the exhibition and conferences in accordance with the marketing strategy from Exhibitor promotion through to Visitor promotion.
Project management of each event to ensure it is planned and executed well
Ensure show websites are fully up to date with latest information in accordance to campaign cycle
Supplier and cost management
Set out and monitor entire budget, drop schedule and media plan
Set up media deals with external organizations to ensure maximum exposure at lowest cost to show budget
Maintain active social media channels in line with market expectations, monitor engagement and maximize conversion
Strategic database build
Coordinate the design and production of all marketing collateral, including sales brochures, conference brochures, visitor tickets, print advertisements, web banners/emails etc.
Analyse and report trends over time and use these insights to build more effective campaigns
Implement any other duties as assigned by the Department Head
As duties change, it will be reflected in the job description after discussions are held with the post holder in the yearly performance evaluations.
Work as per instructions of the Marketing Manager whilst following the laid down policies and guidelines.
Qualifications
Formal qualification in a business, and or marketing management degree or related disciplines, with a minimum of 2 years experience.
At least 2 years relevant experience in an agency or in-house UAE/GCC experience preferred.
Proven experience in the exhibitions industry is preferable for this role.
Experience in developing and executing integrated campaigns. Strong Marketing experience with excellent interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a strong affinity for aesthetics, storytelling and creative content principles.
Fluent in English articulate, creative and compelling in written and verbal communication.
Strategic, action oriented and data driven; must be able to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial organization.
