MishiPay Dubai (DIFC)

About Us:

MishiPay is an international, leading checkout technology company that empowers shoppers to checkout instore using either self-checkout via their own smartphones, or using MishiPay's industry leading, minimalist payment kiosks.

We are creating an enjoyable and convenient in-store shopping experience for global leading retailers.

MishiPay now also runs Mobile POS, Click and Collect and Cash registers, so that merchants, who initially start with our self-checkout, can eventually run their whole store checkout process on MishiPay. With our technology, retailers have proven reductions in cost, due to requiring fewer cashiers, a marked increase in sales due to improved basket sizes, higher frequency of shopper visits and reduction in abandoned baskets, and in addition, all our retailers can access rich and priceless data about their customers. This enables a much better understanding of the customer journey in their bricks and mortar stores.

The Role

We are looking for a talented Marketing Executive to play an important part in driving our growth. You will be passionate about finding new and effective ways to gain positive attention for MishiPay and improve our sales pipeline which includes retailers in UAE and US.

This role will suit you if you're looking for a varied role in which you'll be able to flex all of your marketing muscles. You'll have at least two years Marketing experience in a SME or startup, ideally brand/retail related, a creative mindset, experience assisting with event planning and execution, digital advertising and content generation and very strong written English.

You must be able to thrive in a busy, energetic startup where every day is different. This role entails both offline and online Marketing responsibilities, so you'll have experience of both, a can-do attitude and be happy to roll your sleeves up!

Reporting directly to our COO, you will be involved in the following:

  • Events: Help manage the trade show and events calendar and organise participation across the UAE, US, and Europe.
  • Content Marketing & Case Studies: Own content marketing across channels, including planning, creating, and managing content such as case studies based on results achieved with retailers post-deployment of MishiPay POS and self-checkout solutions, blogs, website copy, and newsletters.
  • Marketing Collateral: Own marketing collateral, including the company presentation deck, sales assets (one-pagers, guides), newsletters, and in-store videos.
  • Website: Manage website content updates and monitor analytics, including visitors and form submissions.
  • Google Ads: Work with the Head of Marketing to set up and manage Google Ads campaigns within the allocated budget.
  • Social Media: Manage the company's social media accounts and support the company's presence across other relevant social media channels.
  • Other: Submit award entries, prepare monthly newsletters, and support additional marketing activities as required.

You'll have:

  • 2+ years relevant generalist Marketing experience in a fast-paced startup or scale-up environment; B2B SaaS, retail, or retail technology preferred
  • Understanding of the retail ecosystem across the US, Europe, and the Middle East
  • Strong written communication and content creation skills
  • Hands-on experience with digital advertising
  • Proficiency in Canva, other design tools, and AI content/creative tools, plus PowerPoint and Excel
  • Experience working with website CMS platforms
  • Experience managing social media channels and email marketing tools such as Mailchimp (or similar)
  • Basic knowledge of PPC, SEO, and Google Analytics
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyWillingness to travel internationally on occasion
