Job Summary
The Marketing Manager MENA will be responsible for driving regional growth across Egypt and the UAE by developing and executing integrated marketing strategies. This role focuses on growth planning, performance tracking, and collaborating with global teams to localize campaigns and optimize market expansion initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set and own the growth targets and budget required to achieve leadership objectives in Egypt and UAE.
- Build detailed annual growth plans, including allocation for each lever (brand media, performance marketing, incentives, and pricing).
- Work in collaboration with centralised HQ marketing functions covering Brand, PM, CRM, and Analytics.
- Coordinate with HQ to execute agreed growth plans, including defining activity grids/media plans and owning the localisation of global assets (TVC creatives, CRM comms, etc.).
- Contribute to the global growth playbook by executing local initiatives with global potential and reporting user insights and local business results.
- Identify expansion opportunities in the region, including mapping the competitive context and leading on-the-ground user research.
- Manage relationships with external agencies and local media partners.
- Track and report on regional performance metrics, drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data sources.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master's degree in Marketing or MBA is a plus.
- 710 years of experience in Marketing & Communications, in FMCG, e-commerce, and/or B2C/C2C technology companies.
- Proven experience in digital marketing, performance campaigns, and integrated communication strategies.
- Proven experience delivering business growth, defining investment strategy, and executing integrated marketing campaigns across digital and non-digital channels in the MENA region.
- Solid consumer marketing fundamentals with strong offline media experience.
- Business-oriented marketing mentality; evidence-driven and ROI-obsessed.
- Strong analytical skills; ability to conclude from multiple quantitative and qualitative sources.
- Outstanding verbal communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset
- Thrives in fast-paced, early-stage environments; proactive and comfortable with incomplete data.
- Strong analytical ability to derive insights from quantitative and qualitative data sources.
- Ability to work with marketing performance metrics and data analysis tools.
- Fluent in English for daily collaboration with the remote, international HQ team.
