Master Planning Sr.Principal
- Translate project briefs into development plans, phasing strategies, and design guidelines for large-scale brownfield regeneration
- Ensure master planning aligns with investment strategies, feasibility models, and long-term asset management goals
- Deep knowledge of zoning ordinances, overlays, density caps, setbacks, and FAR regulations
- Create and manage development control frameworks, including land use compatibility, site coverage, and bulk regulations
- Apply form-based codes to shape urban form, architectural character, frontage types, and streetscapes
- Integrate performance-based codes to drive sustainability, mobility, energy, and daylighting metrics
- Develop hybrid codes that balance form, function, and flexibility for brownfield regeneration
- Deep understanding of brownfield site dynamics: irregular parcels, contamination, infrastructure gaps
- Plan around environmental constraints, phasing requirements, and legacy assets
- Proficiency with GIS, CAD, parametric planning tools, and BIM for master planning
- Use of urban analytics, mobility simulations, and scenario modeling to inform planning decisions
- Promote digital masterplans and smart district frameworks for next-gen brownfield development
- Establish the Master Planning Section including processes, templates, deliverables, and review protocols
- Develop and lead holistic, context-sensitive master plans that integrate land use, transit, heritage, public realm, and infrastructure
- Formulate vision plans and urban design frameworks that respond to business objectives and regulatory conditions
15–18 years of total professional experience
- Minimum 7–10 years at a senior or executive level
- Proven experience in complex brownfield, urban regeneration, or transit-linked developments
- Direct involvement in projects requiring custom code development, heritage preservation, or zoning transformation
- Strong background in both planning policy navigation and urban design execution
- Prior work with or for international top engineering and Urban Planning firm and a development company, is ideal
