Mechanical Design Engineer

CHINT EGEMAC is looking for a qualified Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in 10th of Ramadan City.

• Design and develop mechanical component drawings, sheet metal enclosures, and assemblies for electrical equipment and switchgear.
• Create detailed 2D/3D models and technical drafting packages using modern CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Prepare complete Bills of Materials (BOM) and mechanical fabrication drawings for production.
• Coordinate closely with manufacturing, quality control, and testing teams to support assembly and ensure compliance with design specifications.
• Review design changes, resolve production-line engineering issues, and optimize designs for efficiency and cost.

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in mechanical design (experience in electrical panel boards, switchgear, or sheet metal design is a strong plus).
• Technical Skills: High proficiency in 3D/2D CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD). Solid understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes, tolerances, and structural design.
• Location: 10th of Ramadan City (or willing to commute/relocate).
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and effective team communication.
