Key Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute mechanical designs for transformers in accordance with defined standards and specifications.
- Prepare mechanical drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation using CAD tools.
- Select materials and components based on established guidelines and cost-performance trade-offs.
- Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to address design issues during manufacturing.
- Provide inputs to tendering teams for new proposals and product modifications.
- Participate in troubleshooting during development and prototyping phases.
- Ensure compliance with drafting standards, design accuracy, and documentation practices.
- Contribute to improvement initiatives for cost reduction and design efficiency.
- Maintain awareness of updates in design tools, methods, and industry practices.
Qualifications & Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
- +2 years of experience in Mechanical design
- Proficiency in Mechanical design software such as SolidWorks ( parts , assembly , sheet metal , releasing workshop drawings , BOM )/ AutoCAD / sheet metal / welding , machining process
- Strong knowledge of 3D modeling and/or Autodesk products is also required.
- Strong computer skills
