Mechanical Site Engineer

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Mechanical Site Engineer to supervise and execute mechanical works at site, including HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and fire fighting systems. The candidate should be well-versed with local regulations and capable of handling MEP coordination at construction sites efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Oversee site execution of mechanical systems such as HVAC, chilled water, plumbing, drainage, and fire fighting.

Ensure installation and commissioning are as per approved shop drawings, project specifications, and timelines.

Coordinate with civil, electrical, and other disciplines for seamless MEP integration.

Conduct quality inspections and supervise testing and commissioning activities.

Ensure compliance with local authority standards (e.g., Dubai Municipality, DCD, etc.).

Monitor and manage materials, subcontractors, manpower, and equipment on site.

Maintain accurate records and submit regular progress reports to project management.

Resolve technical issues at the site and liaise with consultants and clients as required.

Ensure health and safety practices are followed at all stages of site execution.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 3-5 Years of experience in the MEP construction projects.

Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire -fighting systems.

Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and mechanical standards and codes.

Familiarity with authority approval processes (DCD, DEWA, DM, etc.).

Strong communication, problem-solving, and site coordination skills.

Immediate availability is preferred.
