About the Job

We are seeking an accomplished MEP Engineer to play a strategic and operational leadership role in ensuring exceptional performance, sustainability, and safety across all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will bring a strong track record in facilities management, with relevant exposure to civil engineering aspects and proven experience in labor camp operations.

Job Summary

The MEP Engineer will be responsible for leading the design, operation, and continuous optimization of building systems, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and full regulatory compliance. This role is integral to driving operational excellence and supporting the organization's long-term strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, management, and optimization of all MEP systems across facilities

• Ensure energy-efficient, cost-effective, and sustainable operations in line with best practices

• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting activities

• Ensure full compliance with local regulations, HSE standards, and company policies

• Coordinate with civil engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP and structural works

• Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to drive strategic initiatives and continuous improvement

• Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to engineers, supervisors, and technicians

• Manage MEP operations within labor camp facilities, ensuring high standards of maintenance, safety, and occupant satisfaction

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline

• Minimum of 8+ years of progressive experience in MEP engineering and facilities management

• Proven experience in managing MEP systems within labor camps or similar high-occupancy facilities

• Solid understanding of civil engineering principles related to infrastructure and building works

• Strong technical expertise in HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and building management systems (BMS)

• Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence, optimize resources, and implement sustainability initiatives

• Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, and project management skills

• Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and demanding environment
