Nursery English Co-Teacher

Pixie Wings is a new EYFS nursery and preschool, located in El Sheikh Zayed, El Yasmin Compound. It aims to provide high-quality care and education for children aged 6 months - 4 years, with focus on creating a supportive and nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

Job Summary:

The Pixie Wings class English co-teacher will be working closely with the class teacher to plan, implement, and evaluate educational programs for children aged 1-4 years. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education, good communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the class teacher and other staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Assist the class teacher in planning and implementing engaging and interactive lessons that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in children.

·        Support the class teacher in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and well-organized classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration.

·        Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences that meet the individual needs of children.

·        Support the class teacher in assessing and evaluating children's progress,

·        Support the class teacher in developing and maintaining positive relationships with parents, caregivers, and colleagues.

·        Support the class teacher in organizing events, workshops, and activities to engage families and the community as per the Director's plan.

·        Support the class teacher in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of children at all times, adhering to relevant policies and procedures.

·        Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching practices and stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education.

Requirements:

·        English proficiency is a must.

·        Good communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.

·        Valid teaching certification or equivalent is a plus.

Working Conditions:

·        Work Environment: Nursery school setting.

·        Hours of Work: Sunday to Thursday from 8 AM to 4PM with extended hours till 6 PM.
