The Eight is a boutique management consulting firm based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We provide strategic and operational support to a portfolio of businesses across multiple sectors. We are currently seeking a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented Office Administrative Assistant to join our team on a full-time, in-office basis.
In this role, you will support The Eight and other entities under our management by handling day-to-day administrative, compliance, and operational tasks. The position plays a key role in ensuring efficient office operations, accurate documentation, and smooth coordination across all businesses.
Responsibilities
- Manage and organize office operations, files, and records (physical and digital)
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence professionally
- Schedule meetings, appointments, and maintain calendars
- Prepare reports, letters, presentations, and other documents
- Coordinate travel arrangements and meeting logistics when required
- Maintain office supplies and liaise with vendors and service providers
- Support HR and finance with basic administrative tasks (e.g., document collection, filing, invoicing support)
- Assist with onboarding paperwork and general employee coordination
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned
- Handle guest relations
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor's degree (preferred)
- Proven experience as an Office Administrative Assistant or similar role
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Professional attitude with a high level of confidentiality
- Languages: English required; Russian or Arabic is a plus.
