The Team You Will Join
You'll be part of MetLife's Retail Operations Division, specifically within the New Business team, which plays a critical role in onboarding new customers across Agency, Bancassurance, and IFA channels. The team ensures accurate policy administration, compliance, and exceptional service delivery to support MetLife's mission of building a confident future for our customers.
The Opportunity
The New Business Operations Processor is responsible for executing end-to-end new business processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of insurance policies across multiple channels. This role is essential to maintaining operational excellence and delivering a seamless customer experience. You'll have the opportunity to work on diverse tasks, from policy administration to compliance screening, and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive efficiency and quality.
Success in this role requires attention to detail and strong organizational skills. The New Business Operations officer will manage policy processing, compliance checks, and documentation while supporting cross-functional teams in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
How You'll Help Us Build a Confident Future (Key Responsibilities)
- Lead the accurate processing of new insurance applications and policy changes.
- Create and maintain complete and compliant customer records in the policy administration system.
- Oversee compliance screening for OFAC, FATCA, and CRS requirements.
- Manage premium calculations, refunds, and commission adjustments using approved rates.
- Develop strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
- Coordinate with Underwriting, Finance, IT, and other departments to resolve issues and maintain service quality.
What You Need To Succeed (Required Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Proficient in MS Office; familiarity with policy administration systems is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Insurance or underwriting experience is an advantage.
