For a multinational company, we are looking for an Oracle Database Administrator, you will be responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, security, and reliability of the Oracle database environment. You will support the full database lifecycle from installation and configuration to maintenance, optimization, and troubleshooting while ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, organize, and maintain Oracle database systems in line with business goals.
- Monitor and optimize database performance, scalability, and flexibility.
- Support and operate databases in production environments.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve database issues by identifying root causes.
- Design, implement, and maintain backup and recovery strategies.
- Develop and manage database objects including tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures.
- Implement, monitor, and periodically update database security policies.
- Manage database user accounts and provide technical support and guidance to team members.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
- Strong proficiency with Oracle Database 19c and above.
- Solid understanding of SQL, database backup, and recovery concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle tools such as Data Guard, Oracle RAC, and ASM.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work in an operational environment with on-call responsibilities.
