Job Title: OSI PI Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated OSI PI Engineer with 7-11 years of experience to support the design, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of OSIsoft PI System solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of industrial data systems, process historians, and basic integration with operational technology (OT) and IT systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain the OSI PI System (PI Server, PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework (AF), PI Vision, and PI Interfaces).
- Collect, store, and visualize real-time data from industrial processes.
- Develop PI Asset Framework (AF) models, templates, and event frames.
- Design and configure PI Vision dashboards and displays based on user requirements.
- Integrate data from field devices (PLC, SCADA, DCS systems) using standard PI interfaces and connectors.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data collection issues and PI system performance.
- Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and IT teams to understand and fulfil data requirements.
- Provide technical support, documentation, and user training related to the PI System.
- Assist in PI System upgrades, patches, and cybersecurity compliance activities.
- Participate in the development of reports and analytics based on process data.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Instrumentation, Computer Science) or related field.
- At least 7 years of hands-on experience with OSIsoft PI System (installation, configuration, troubleshooting).
- Familiarity with PI Data Archive, PI Asset Framework (AF), and PI Vision.
- Basic knowledge of SCADA, DCS, PLC systems, and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, OPC, etc.).
- Good knowledge of OPC UA and OPC DA protocol
- Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools.
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
