Job Purpose
To accurately prepare accounting statements and schedules, maintain records, and calculate employee salaries and benefits for timely deposit into employees bank accounts or issuance of checks, ensuring compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.
Key Accountabilities
- Review and analyze payroll data and reports for accuracy and resolve discrepancies to ensure accurate posting to payroll records.
- Controls and maintains payroll administration.
- Process and maintain records of employee leave status
- Performs routine manual calculations and clerical duties including reviewing data for accuracy and maintaining employee payroll files.
- Communicate with managers, supervisors, co-workers, citizens, and others, maintains confidentiality
- Coordinate with recruitment team for engagement for a new joiner and assisting the team to speed up engagement
- Reviews research and responds to payroll inquiries while adhering to critical deadlines.
- Inputs data into payroll software for employment verification, setting up and maintaining all personnel files, answers high volume of phone calls and sending payroll checks weekly.
- Provides personnel/payroll services for multiple departments within Enova.
- Administer and fill personnel/payroll system employment forms and payroll for all employees.
- Calculates and enters retroactive transfers of payroll charges in payroll system.
- Maintains confidential recordkeeping of employee garnishments and wage verifications.
- Collaborate with management to integrate and maintain consistent payroll policies and procedures, especially during acquisitions.
- Prepare and generate various payroll reports (e.g., pay period, monthly, quarterly, year-end) for management review, including gross payroll, hours worked, and deductions.
Qualifications, Experiences, & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in accounting &/or any equivalent professional qualification.
- 3-4 years related working experience.
- Communication skills, particularly regarding presenting the results of analyses to management; advanced Excel skills and knowledge of electronic spreadsheets.
