Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Cairo, Egypt. The Pharmacist will dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately, verify prescriptions, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Daily responsibilities include counseling patients on proper medication use, possible side effects, and drug interactions, as well as answering health-related questions. The role involves maintaining accurate patient records, managing inventory and stock levels, and ensuring the safe storage of medicines. The Pharmacist will collaborate with other healthcare professionals, support pharmacy assistants, and contribute to a clean, organized, and patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and drug interactions, with the ability to provide clear medication counseling.
• Proficiency in prescription verification, dispensing processes, and adherence to pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Ability to maintain accurate patient records, manage inventory, and use pharmacy or hospital information systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach and commitment to confidentiality.
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent) and valid pharmacist licensure/registration in Egypt.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as needed, and to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Previous community pharmacy experience and knowledge of over-the-counter products and basic first aid are beneficial.
