Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Cairo. The Pharmacist will dispense medications accurately, review prescriptions for appropriateness and safety, and provide clear counseling to patients on dosage, side effects, and drug interactions. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, managing inventory, checking expiry dates, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals, responding to patient inquiries, and supporting health education initiatives within the community. The Pharmacist is expected to uphold SEIF Pharmacies commitment to patient-centered care and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and drug interactions, with the ability to review and validate prescriptions safely.
• Skills in patient counseling, clear communication, and providing health and medication education in an accessible manner.
• Competence in prescription processing, record-keeping, and use of pharmacy information systems or relevant software.
• Ability to manage inventory, monitor stock levels, handle controlled medications responsibly, and maintain an organized workspace.
• Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to regulatory compliance, medication safety, and quality standards.
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent) from an accredited institution and valid pharmacist license to practice in Egypt.
• Capability to work collaboratively in a team environment, handle high patient volumes, and deliver consistent, respectful service.
• Previous community or retail pharmacy experience is preferred; fluency in Arabic and good command of English are beneficial.
