Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Cairo, Egypt. The Pharmacist is responsible for dispensing medications accurately, providing clear counseling on proper use, potential side effects, and drug interactions, and ensuring prescriptions comply with legal and regulatory requirements. Daily activities include reviewing and validating prescriptions, maintaining up-to-date patient records, monitoring stock levels, and supporting inventory control and expiry management. The role also involves advising customers on over-the-counter products, promoting safe medication practices, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality, customer-centered service. Pharmacists are expected to follow El Ezaby's standard operating procedures, contribute to health awareness initiatives, and uphold the highest standards of ethics, safety, and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist with a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent) from an accredited institution; eligibility for registration with the relevant Egyptian regulatory authority.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and pharmacy laws and regulations, with attention to safe dispensing and patient counseling.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to provide clear guidance to patients, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and deliver customer-focused service.
• Proficiency in using pharmacy management systems, POS tools, and basic computer applications; ability to maintain accurate digital and paper records.
• Demonstrated ability to manage inventory, support stock control, check expiry dates, and follow standard operating procedures in a high-volume retail pharmacy environment.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, while maintaining professionalism under pressure.
• Commitment to continuous learning, participation in training programs, and adherence to quality, safety, and infection-control standards.
• Previous experience in community or retail pharmacy is an advantage; fluency in Arabic and good command of English are beneficial.
