Role Description The Pharmacist role at El Ezaby Pharmacy is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo. The Pharmacist will dispense medications accurately, review prescriptions for appropriateness, and provide clear counseling to patients on drug use, side effects, and interactions. Daily responsibilities include maintaining proper stock levels, ensuring safe storage of medicines, and adhering to all regulatory and company standards. The Pharmacist will participate in patient support and consultation services, contribute to health awareness initiatives, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient pharmacy operations. The role also involves documentation of patient records, quality checks, and continuous learning to stay updated on new pharmaceuticals and best practices.

Qualifications

• Relevant academic qualifications, such as a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and valid licensure/registration to practice as a Pharmacist in Egypt.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, dosage calculations, and safe dispensing practices.
• Ability to provide patient-centered counseling, communicate medical information clearly, and offer empathetic, respectful support to diverse patient populations.
• Attention to detail in prescription review, documentation, and inventory management, with a commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in using pharmacy systems and basic computer applications, with willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
• Team-oriented approach, reliability in shift-based work, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
• Previous experience in community or retail pharmacy is an advantage; continuous professional development and knowledge of local healthcare practices are beneficial.
