Role Description This full-time, on-site Pharmacist role is based in Giza and involves providing safe and accurate dispensing of medications to customers and patients. The Pharmacist will review prescriptions, verify dosages, check for drug interactions, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and pharmacy standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include counseling patients on proper medication use, side effects, and storage, as well as answering health-related questions in a clear and empathetic manner. The role also involves managing inventory, monitoring stock levels, maintaining records, and supporting the medical team in delivering coordinated care. The Pharmacist will contribute to quality assurance, uphold infection control and safety procedures, and help improve pharmacy workflows and customer experience.
Qualifications
- Professional pharmacy expertise, including strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and safe dispensing practices.
- Ability to provide clear patient counseling on medications, with strong communication and customer service skills.
- Competence in prescription review, documentation, and adherence to legal, regulatory, and ethical standards.
- Skills in inventory management, stock control, and maintaining an organized, compliant pharmacy environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent) and a valid pharmacist license/registration in Egypt.
- Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting.
- Willingness to collaborate within a multidisciplinary medical team and participate in ongoing professional development.
