Planning Engineer

Job Description:

Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.

Prepare baseline schedules, detailed work programs, and periodic schedule updates.

Monitor project progress against approved schedules, milestones, and targets.

Collect and analyze progress data from site, engineering, procurement, and construction teams.

Identify schedule delays, critical activities, and potential risks affecting project completion.

Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, dashboards, and schedule analysis.

Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) and analyze schedule/cost performance where applicable.

Prepare recovery plans and mitigation strategies for delayed activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering.

Mid-Level: 3–6 years of relevant experience in Planning / Project Controls within construction, infrastructure, or engineering projects.

Senior: 6–10 years of relevant experience in Planning / Project Controls.

Team Leader: 8–12+ years of relevant experience with proven experience leading planning/project controls teams.

Strong experience in Primavera P6; MS Project is an advantage.

Good knowledge of construction methodologies, project scheduling, and progress measurement.

Experience with baseline development, schedule updating, critical path analysis, delay analysis, and recovery planning.
