JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for managing demand, supply, and production planning activities to ensure accurate forecasting, effective production scheduling, and optimal inventory levels. The role works closely with Sales, Marketing, Production, and Procurement to align plans, support S&OP/IBP processes, monitor performance against plans, and provide data-driven insights that enhance operational efficiency and business decision-making.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Demand Planning- Lead the demand forecasting process in coordination with Sales and Marketing.
- Analyze historical data, trends, and promotional activities.
- Improve forecast accuracy and reduce forecast bias.
- Prepare demand scenarios and risk analysis.
Supply & Production Planning- Translate demand into supply and production plans and develop Master Production Schedules (MPS).
- Balance capacity, manpower, and material availability.
- Monitor plan versus actual performance and manage deviations.
Inventory Management- Define inventory policies in coordination with management.
- Monitor slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory.
- Drive inventory optimization initiatives.
JOB SPECIFICATION
Technical & Functional Skills- Strong expertise in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Production Planning.
- Solid understanding of forecasting techniques (statistical forecasting, trend analysis, seasonality, promotion uplift).
- Experience in S&OP / IBP processes and cross-functional demand alignment.
- Strong knowledge of inventory optimization (Safety Stock, DOS, MOQ, Reorder Points).
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
Systems & Tools- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, scenario analysis).
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo, Dynamics, or similar).
- Ability to translate data into clear insights for management.
Behavioral & Leadership Competencies- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
- High attention to detail with the ability to see the big picture.
- Ability to challenge assumptions and manage forecast bias.

Background and Experience- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
