Job Summary
We are looking for experienced Plant QA/QC Inspectors for long-term Oil & Gas projects. The role involves inspection, testing, and quality assurance of pressure vessels, piping systems, steel structures, and related equipment, ensuring compliance with international standards and project specifications.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform inspection and testing of pressure vessels, piping, steel structures, valves, and related equipment
- Ensure compliance with international codes, standards, and project specifications
- Conduct QA/QC activities at fabrication shops and construction sites
- Interpret isometric drawings, P&IDs, material specifications, and technical documents
- Perform and review NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT) and interpret radiographic results
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain quality documentation
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure quality standards are met
- Verify materials and workmanship as per project and client requirements
- Use MS Office tools for reporting and communication
Mandatory Requirements
- Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering
- Valid CSWIP 3.2.2 (Senior Welding Inspector) or AWS-SCWI certification
- NDT Level-II certification in PT, MT, UT & RT Interpretation (SNT-TC-1A / CP 189 / PCN / ISNT)
- Minimum experience: 8+ years (Degree holders) and 12+ years (Diploma holders)
- Minimum 5 years of experience as QA/QC Inspector in Oil & Gas projects
- Strong knowledge of international standards, welding, fabrication, and inspection processes
- Experience in operating companies or Oil & Gas projects preferred
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
