Role Overview
As part of our team in the United Arab Emirates, you'll work in an ONSITE environment taking on the challenges and responsibilities of a Procurement Officer committed to driving timely and cost-effective purchasing initiatives. You will coordinate with vendors, internal teams, and leverage your market knowledge to strengthen our supply chain and procurement strategy.
Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement of goods and services while ensuring compliance with company policies and quality standards.
- Source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as required to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Prepare purchase orders, review requisitions, and track documentation processes end-to-end.
- Analyze market trends and pricing to achieve best value and cost savings.
- Maintain up-to-date records regarding suppliers, products, deliveries, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments to clarify procurement specifications and resolve any issues.
- Support audits and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in procurement or supply chain roles.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
- Proficient in MS Office and well-versed in ERP/procurement software tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
