Production Manager

Role description:

* We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations for kitchen equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sheet metal fabrication and a proven track record of managing production teams in a fast-paced environment with high diversity of products.

Key responsibilities:

* Production Planning: Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.

* Team Management: Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of production workers, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety standards.

* Quality Control: Monitor production processes to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality.

* Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize production costs.

* Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

* Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all employees.

* Reporting: Prepare and present production reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

* Strong experience as Production Manager within a sheet metal fabrication and manufacturing set up

* Strong knowledge of welding processes

* Cannot have someone who handles the manufacturing for only 1 type of product - needs someone overlooking production for different products - bespoke products, limited series, not serial production

* Ideally project level production
