Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans that include objectives, timelines, budgets, and resources required to meet project deliverables.
  • Design and Engineering: Work closely with architects, contractors, and other engineers to develop detailed project plans, drawings, and specifications that meet design standards.
  • Project Execution: Oversee project execution by ensuring that work is being performed according to the project plan and within the approved budget. Monitor construction progress, review contractor performance, and ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
  • Project Budgeting and Cost Control: Develop project budgets, estimate costs, and monitor and control project costs to ensure that projects are completed within budget.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all engineering projects meet the required quality standards. Develop quality control procedures, review project plans and specifications, and monitor construction progress to ensure that projects are completed to the required standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks to project success and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Project Documentation: Create and maintain project documentation, including project plans, design documents, project schedules, and construction reports.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering project management.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and standards.
  • Excellent project management skills, including project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in the construction industry is preferred.
  • Proficient in using project management software, such as MS Project.
  • Familiarity with relevant engineering software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks, is preferred.
